Transition to Fall - Target Haul
It is FINALLY here y'all! My Target haul you have ALL been waiting for! These pieces are so good you guys and SO affordable. I am happy to share these great finds from Target - they are affordable, great quality, and size inclusive. Let me tell you - trying to find items that fit not only you but all other sizes can be difficult. I was very impressed with Target and the inclusivity they had on their website. Obviously, you can go in store as well but I am a lover of online shopping! I always recommend to check the size guide for each item you look at on a website. I do the bulk of my shopping online and when I go off the size guides it is almost ALWAYS perfect on the fit. This haul was a good one, and I found perfect pieces to transition to fall. These outfits can be for every day leisure, business, or a date night out. For all of these pieces I spent less than $300. Yes, it may seem a bit much; however, I haven't gotten a lot of new clothes lately so that is my excuse! Lol. I will highlight my favorites and must haves, but in all honesty I am in love with every piece I bought! So, let's get started...
First up is a super casual look for day to day. Theses jeans I have had for a while and they are American Eagle's Stretch Mom Jean Size 18. These are the most COMFORTABLE jeans I have ever worn. Perfectly high waisted too! Also, they are 25% off on AE website. Trust me you will not be disappointed (a little more pricey but WORTH it).
The shoes paired with this outfit are from Target. First time putting these on and they were like pillows on my feet. Usually I am a bit hesitant to wear all day to work for the first try on; but these did not hurt my feet AT ALL. They are the most beautiful blush color and go with a lot of your neutrals. For under $25, I would buy these slip on sneakers over and over.
For the top, I got a few new tanks in black, grey, and white that you will see throughout the post. Simple, cute, and only $8. The perfect staple to your wardrobe.
If you want a comfy outfit these items are a MUST need for your closet. I will be wearing this a bunch with the upcoming weather changes. Also, we ALL know how bipolar Ohio weather can be. I wanted a jacket that was perfect for those perfect chilly fall days. I had eyed this windbreaker (pictured below) for a while and finally took the plunge to buy it. For only $32, I was completely in awe of how beautiful the olive tie dye was on this coat. The material wasn't too heavy or light. It has the perfect synched in waist and huge pockets as well with a giant hood. I truly want to wear this outfit every day! This windbreaker is one of my favorite purchases!
Next outfit look up is the cutest business casual look (use arrows to see more of the look). I first paired the skirt with the grey tank top I bought; however, I then added the blazer to give it a more business look. Either way I loved the look of both outfits. The plaid skirt is the perfect length- I am not going to lie, I was worried with the size of my butt that it would make the skirt ride up...but it didn't. The length was perfect all the way around and was SUPER flattering. I am wearing size XXL in the skirt and it retails for $19 (SO good). Now onto the cutest boyfriend blazer EVER. The blazer I could've gotten a size smaller; however, I loved the more oversized and relaxed look it gave. The shoulders had a bit of padding to give some structure to the top which I appreciate. ONLY downfall for this blazer is it has faux pockets! I WISH companies would just keep the pockets - it would make us girls a LOT happier. We have a lot of things we need to carry! And one of my other favorite purchases are these ADORABLE pointed booties. I am a size 9.5 in most shoes and the size was perfect for the booties. The ankle area was pretty tight; however, I could tolerate it. I ALWAYS recommend a point toe heel or bootie because it elongates the legs beautifully (and with thick thighs I appreciate the allusion of being taller). These booties retail at $37 and are just beautiful for the fall!
Now for all the girls that love print you are going to drop everything and go buy this. SERIOUSLY, THE BEST SWEATER.
Cheetah, Leopard, and Snakeskin print, as you all know, is SUPER in for this fall season. So you KNOW a type of print would be in here somewhere. This Leopard Crewneck sweater is SO dreamy. The fit is just right and the material is extremely soft. AND the booties are a perfect color match to the sweater. Pairing sweaters with shorts is for all the people (like me) who are ready for the fall weather too soon. This gives you the best transition and best mix of both summer and fall fashion. These shorts are from American Eagle and are on sale for 50% off right now! On website these shorts size 0-16 are available right now. I got them in size 18; however, they are a bit big on my waist so I could have went with a size 16. I love the length of these shorts because they are "midi" and they are super stretchy as well.
Below is another outfit option that is another great every day look to run errands, go on a day date, etc. I kept the same distressed shorts on and added this new bell sleeve top from Target. I actually wore this top to work with black slacks and it was a very professional look. I love the versatility this top has. I am LOVING the bell sleeves as well. This top retails for $22 and I am wearing an XL. I felt that the shoulder area was a bit tight but still easy to wear. This top has a deeper V but doesn't show too much cleavage. Also, this red is BEAUTIFUL for fall. The shorts gives it a more relaxed look - I would pair with a pair of tan slides to keep it a cute relaxed look. However, if you want to dress it up for a night look or for work attire I recommend you buy these cream slacks IMMEDIATELY.
The cream slacks above and below are the most beautiful pants I have seen. They synch it the waist beautifully and stop perfectly on the ankles (I am 5'6'' for reference). These are in size 16 and they retail for $34.99. In the pictures below you can see how you can tie the belt to give it a super feminine look. The quality is amazing and are made very well. These pants also come in denim as well. The "paperbag pants" are very on trend right now, I think due to how small it makes your waist - which will be perfect for any hour glass shapes.
I paired the pants with a black tank to give a cute look for a more relaxed look again. These are one of my favorites as well. The color is beautiful, the fit is perfect (even for the big booty girls). I recommend wearing a cute pair of sandals and have it match with whatever color top you're wearing. For this black top I would get a black pair of sandals to balance the outfit.
